Making a Difference

CritterLuv is a foster-based, volunteer-operated pet rescue that serves Chico California and surrounding areas.  We are dependent on donations to support our mission to save animals, which otherwise comes from the pockets of volunteers.  

CritterLuv is volunteer-operated, funded and driven. We are completely dependent on our amazing team of volunteers including  bottlefeeders, fosters and rehabbers.

Because CritterLuv is an independent organization without an official facility to accommodate us, our animal intake abilities depend on the availability of our volunteer fosters. This is why our fosters are so important! 

We want our adopters and animals to have a positive experience!  We offer a "Foster To Adopt" program which gives potential adopters the option to foster a pet before adopting to ensure they are a good fit for each other.
